Sweet romance

Sweet love story.
We are re-introduced to Lacy, sister of Andy from Miss Match. Lacy is a troubled musician/composer whose fiancé has committed suicide. One year later she is existing but having trouble moving forward. Even her music isn't stuck.
Eli is a creative genius who has his own set of issues, with his lead singer and willingness to put aside his own needs and wants.
Lacy and Eli have alter egos on an anonymous musicians website and, although they've never met, are becoming closer and have a very strong connection.
Fate plays its hand and tosses them together. This is where things get murky and frustrating. There's and instant connection and they make discoveries about who their internet alter ego may be but they DONT TALK so they make poor choices that drive a wedge in their relationships, both in person and online.
Although I loved the ending and many parts of the book, it was frustrating that they ignored what felt right to do what their head said they should. They ultimately screw things up. But their HEA is as sweet as can be. And little Miss Match plays a bit of a role.
It was good to see Andy and Blake get married, still as eccentric and perfectly matched as ever.

Love Struck had all of the things that makes a fantabulous love story! Sexy times. Heck yes. A bit of mystery. My poor Lacy. Angst. Ah. #F*ck. My heart. Laugh out loud moments. My face and guts hurt from laughing so hard. And swoony swoon moments. My heart melted over and over.
Eli and Lacy’s love story grabbed onto my heart and didn’t let go. Eli. Jesus. Eli. There may have been some lusting on my part. Ok, well A LOT of lusting. Oh my god. I love him so much! Eli was such a good guy, I think I was lovestruck from the moment he appeared. I felt the chemistry between these two immediately. It was hot. Amazing. Electrifying. Perfect. Oh god. There was this one scene. It was so, so beautiful between these two. Eli. My god this man. I’ve got butterflies just thinking about it! It just squeezed my heart. It was a magical moment. He was her King. A moment that had me wanting to be his Queen! Ahhhh! My heart. So full for these two!
Eli and Lacy had a bumpy road on the journey to their ever after. My god did it squeeze my heart! I wanted to have words with Lacy on many occasions. I wanted to reach through my kindle and grab her by the shoulders and say “Girl? Are you cray?! This man is ALL OF THE THINGS!” Anyway the angst always guts me, I’m a softy. So I may have shed a few tears. But I loved every moment of it!
Love Struck was original, very well written and highly entertaining. I would definitely love to read more from Laurelin McGee! This was a great love story and fabulous book

Entertaining

I found the heroine of this 2nd installment in the MIss Match series to be extremely immature. Her actions and reactions fit a character I might expect to see in a New Adult offering. That made it hard for me to get into the story and connect to her journey to happily ever after. The story itself was entertaining, and the majority of the characters were engaging and interesting. I read and enjoyed the first book in the series, and though Love Struck can stand alone, the overall experience is better when the stories are read together.
